Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airlines (or simply GX Airlines) (simplified Chinese: 北部湾航空; is a Chinese airline based at Nanning Wuxu International Airport. It is a joint venture between Tianjin Airlines and the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group. GX Airlines commenced operations on 13 February 2015 as one of the first airlines based in Guangxi Province.

Job Details:

Minimum requirements are as follows:

  • Aircraft Types: A320 family
  • 600 hours PIC time on type with a total of 3000 hours.
  • Current on type within 12 months (possible exceptions on a case-by-case basis)
  • Valid ATP license, valid passport, Class A Medical
  • Must be from a country with diplomatic ties to China (ICAO member country)
  • No incidents or accidents (must provide letter from current company)
  • Must provide a notarized and authenticated proof of no criminal history
  • Age:  must be between 30 and 52 years of age.

Base:  Nanning, China

Contract Term:  3 years, renewable in 1 year increments

Up to $298,000 per year NET!

Beibu Gulf Airlines offers a variety of Pay and vacation packages.  Please see the table below for details.

Option one:  90, 100, 110, 120 or 130 days off per year  ($24,800 to $20,800 per month)

Option two: four weeks on, four weeks off, or two weeks on, two weeks off. ($15,405 per month)

Option three: Six weeks on, two weeks off or six weeks on, three weeks off ($23,872 to $21,805 per month)

Option four:  Three weeks on, three weeks off.  ($15,405 per month)

NOTE:  A maximum of 14 days paid leave will be allowed per calendar month.  Commuting schedule starts AFTER ground school.

Chinese income taxes will be paid by Beibu Gulf Airlines. Expat status may dramatically reduce your national tax liability. Consult your CPA for tax advice.
