ENGLISH LEVELS TO SUIT YOU
Basic English is perfect for beginners who need to improve their basic English language skills. Focused on grammar, vocabulary, general conversational situations with some study towards basic aviation English.
Foundation Module provides general English tuition, adopting an integrated skills approach. The course concentrates on structure and usage, oral communication, vocabulary development and listening and reading comprehension. Use of English in a general aviation context in preparation for the final phase of the training. After finishing this course you should be ready to commence your pilot training and operational level Aviation English training.
Operational Module, is geared towards ICAO Level 5 covering general English and English for the working aviation environment, including R/T phraseology. The aim of this module is to improve trainees’ communicative competence with particular reference to the six ICAO language proficiency descriptors – pronunciation, structure, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension and interaction. Course participants will develop their listening skills with authentic recordings and practice using the functional language and vocabulary required in both standard and non-standard aviation situations.

1. Conversation & Observation
Lina W. Nielsen, our experienced psychological counselor for expatriates and local Chinese, can conduct a thorough interview with your candidates individually to observe and evaluate their:
The evaluation is mainly based on subjective assessment and might include other methods including drawing, sand play, pocket sculpting and so on…… depending on the candidate’s traits and the situation. This means we get a 360 view of your candidates character and potential behavioral traits that might impact their ability to be a pilot. If there are doubts, specific psychological evaluation forms would be chosen in accordance to each individual’s situation after the assessment, forms are such as SAS/SDS (anxiety/depression), LES (events), and extra time is needed if forms are applied …… However, step 2 evaluation forms are used in general. Time: 3 hours
2. Psychological Test
Ability test This tests candidate’s ability for challenges and ability to adjust oneself in a foreign/new environment, as well as their capacity to persist when facing challenges to achieve a designated goal.
Personality Test Personality development plays a important role in an individual’s personal as well as professional life. The personality test evaluates candidate’s emotional stability, social inter-relationship ability, as well as capabilities for fitting in an environment and working in a team. Other function of the personality test could also provide indications to the candidates psychological health and whether in some cases the candidate may be mentally ill and hence a risky candidate for you. Time: 3 hours
3. Training
This is a seminar mainly designed for group training for pre-pilots who are going abroad to take their training. Content includes ability to understand cultural differences; psychological impact and development, and methods for reducing the psychological consequences such as loneliness and depressions. After preparation, candidates can reduce their psychological stress in a foreign environment, thus increase their likelihood of succeeding. Training includes: What can you expect? — group experiences sharing Host Country Overview & Western and Chinese Culture Comparison Psychological Development in a foreign environment Coping Strategies Discussion, Workshop, Q&A , and illustration of some useful tool and technics would be involved in the training process.
